About the Text Case Converter
This tool lets you convert any text into eight different case formats with a single click. It is useful for programmers who need variable naming conventions, writers who want to fix capitalization, or anyone working with text formatting.
Case Formats Explained
- UPPERCASE — All letters become capital letters. Used for emphasis or headings.
- lowercase — All letters become small letters. Useful for normalizing text input.
- Title Case — The first letter of each word is capitalized. Standard for titles and headings.
- Sentence case — Only the first letter of each sentence is capitalized, like normal prose.
- camelCase — Words joined with no separator, first word lowercase, subsequent words capitalized. Common in JavaScript.
- PascalCase — Like camelCase but the first word is also capitalized. Used for class names in many languages.
- snake_case — Words joined with underscores, all lowercase. Popular in Python and Ruby.
- kebab-case — Words joined with hyphens, all lowercase. Used in URLs and CSS class names.
